Seminal 70s band wows Londonderry

DISCO legend Nile Rodgers wowed Londonderry with the current incarnation of Chic on Sunday.

Fans were treated to hit after hit after hit including their own ‘Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah),’ ‘Everybody Dance,’ ‘Le Freak,’ ‘I Want Your Love’ and ‘Good Times.’

Sister Sledge’s dance floor classics - ‘He’s the Greatest Dancer,’ ‘We Are Family’ and ‘Lost in Music’ - and Diana Ross’ staples - ‘Upside Down’ and ‘I’m Coming Out’ - also got an airing.

As did David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance,’ Madonna’s ‘Like a Virgin’ and Duran Duran’s ‘Notorious’.
