'˜Unionists in Mid Ulster are turning to the TUV because of DUP internal battles'

Unionists in Mid Ulster are turning to the Traditional Unionist Voice in large numbers, according to the party's candidate in the forthcoming assembly election, Hannah Loughrin.

People recognise the work Jim has done in Stormont and want to strengthen his hand,” she said. “They are also clearly unimpressed with the petty squabbles within a political party which clearly believes their MLA in the last Assembly isn’t up to the job.

“We need change in Mid Ulster and effective representation at Stormont. That will only come via the TUV.”

Mr Allister, the party leader recently joined Hannah on the campaign trail in the Mid Ulster constituency.

“With one of the parties which currently holds one of Mid Ulster’s two Unionist seats clearly divided TUV is pleased to be able to offer the electorate the opportunity to vote for an able candidate to represent them in the next Assembly,” he said.

DUP posters throughout Mid Ulster tell voters to vote for their candidates “1 and 2 It’s your decision” because the party locally was not able to come to its own decision. A much better and wiser decision would be to vote for Hannah who has the ability to get the job done.”
