Vandals destroy floral displays in Tobermore on eve of community fun day

Mid Ulster councillor Derek McKinney said the floral displays in the village were wrecked on Friday night.

“This is a disgraceful act which has taken place on the eve of a community fun day in the village.

“Local residents are appalled by this act of vandalism which has deprived the village of the bright and cheerful flower displays in which they take pride.”

The councillor added: “I would appeal to anyone with information on the incident to contact the PSNI.”
