Wind turbine plans submitted

PLANS have been submitted for four wind turbines with a base-to-blade height of nearly 100 metres at Carneatly near Ballycastle and a proposal has also been submitted for a wind measurement mast up to 65 metres high 740 metres north west of 56 Moyarget Road, Carneatly.

Moycraig tourist plan

four detached tourist cottages are planned for land beside 70 Moycraig Road, Ballycastle.

Electric plan

A SCHEME to make electric from farm waste has been proposed for a site 180 metres south of 100 Knockahollet Road near Dunloy.

It is a proposed anaerobic digestion plant to receive farm wastes and grass/maize silage to generate electricity and heat with biogas fuelled power and heat generator.

Slurry test plan

PLANNERS have received a proposal for a workshop in association with a farm diversifation business and light industrial use pertaining to the research, development and testing of overland slurry distributors at 79B Finvoy Road, Ballymoney.
