Woman knocked down in Omagh taken to hospital with serious head injury
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was struck by a car in Omagh earlier on Wednesday.
The collision occurred on James Street, close to the grammar school, at around 3.05pm.
The woman, who is understood to be in her 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious head injury.
Inspector Keith McBrien is asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police by calling the non-emergency number 10
