Carrickfergus Model Primary School will start the New Year by throwing open its doors to prospective parents and pupils.

Principal Jenni Miller said: “Our aim is simple – for every child to aspire to learn, care and grow together. At CMPS we want every child to be Caring, Mannerly, Prepared and Safe and we want to achieve this together.

“We believe that educating the heart is just as important as educating the mind and that character is just as important as calibre.”

Jenni says she hopes prospective parents enjoy the short video, which shows a few of the things that Primary 1 get up to at the Model.

Jenni looks forward to welcoming prospective parents and pupils at the school open day on Saturday January 4, between 10am and noon.

“With a proud past and an exciting future, we have the most wonderful children and staff at our school and I look forward to welcoming you into our school family,” she said.
