A stroke of brilliance brings victory for Melissa

It was the first stroke competition of the season and although ground was quite wet, some good scores were returned.

Section A Winner-Ann Magennis Net 72.

Section B Winner-Anne Connolly Net 75.

Section C Winner-Kathleen Smyth Net 79.

The overall winner was Melissa Whan with an impressive nett 71.

Tuesday 12th saw the return of the rain and the course was closed, so alas, no golf.

Jason Greenaway, the club Professional commenced a “Ladies into Golf“ programme on Tuesday April 12th.

The ladies were welcomed following their first session to the club for tea and coffee and they hope that they will continue to visit the club and enjoy the golf and the craic.

Various team completions are starting so watch this space for results.

Monday May 2nd, Bank holiday Gents and Ladies Sweep, entry online.
