Ahoghill already opening up big lead in Churches League

Champions First Ahoghill are the new leaders after early season pacesetters Second Broughshane ‘A’ suffered their first defeat of the campaign at the hands of Ballymena Methodist.

Ahoghill have notched 28 points from a possible 30 from their opening five games as they fire out an ominous warning to their would-be challengers.

Another eye-catching result this week saw St Patrick’s take all five points against 2014 champions Buckna.
