ATHLETICS: Larne AC’s Meban, Hutchinson and Brady at Masters

On Saturday Charlie Meban, Craig Hutchinson and Bernard Brady ran in the British and Irish Masters XC in Dublin.

In wet, muddy and very slippery conditions the three men battled it out in their races. Charlie ran in the 65+ 6km, crossing the line in 13th place in a time of 26:32.

Craig and Bernard were up next in the men’s Vet 50, 55 and 60 8km. Craig finished 18th in his category (29:18). He was followed by Bernard who clocked 29:56 (22nd male vet 50).

Thomas Craig represented Larne AC at Saturday’s Tollymore Trail Marathon event, competing in the 40-mile ultra-marathon. He finished strongly with a time of 6:31:45 (18th), wrapping up his racing season for the year.
