ATHLETICS: Larne's Rhonda Brady finishes third in Athlone

There was success for Rhonda Brady in the Irish Masters Nationals at the weekend.

On Sunday, March 20, the Larne AC member travelled to Athlone to take part in the Irish Masters Nationals.

Rhonda who made a return to track training in February after a period off, decided to concentrate on the 400m for this event. She put in a solid performance and narrowly missed a personal best. She clocked 1:07.36 and finished in third position.

Meanwhile, Kerri-Anne and Thomas Craig participated in the Spar Craic 10k on Thursday, March 17. This city centre run started at Belfast City Hall, linking in west and east Belfast and proceeded to the Cathedral Quarter before finishing at the Titanic Building.

Thomas finished with a time of 43.07 and Kerri-Anne achieved a personal best finishing with a time of 49.26.

It was a great race with excellent atmosphere and support throughout the streets.
