Big occasion for local Taekwondo club

Members of the Taekwondo Association of Great Britain Ballymena Club enjoyed a special occasion recently.

A recent grading in Seven Towers leisure centre was graded by Mr Michael Dew , 8th Dan and Vice president of the TAGB from Bristol.

He was assisted by Mr Keith Farrell 5th Dan TAGB Northern Irish Representative and Mr Adam & Mrs Caroline Askew 4th Dan Senior Instructors.

Some of those involved in the grading event will be assisting in the Ballymena club’s Summer Club in the Seven Towers Leisure Centre Minor Hall on Saturday July 19 and Saturday, July 26.

The event runs from 2-4pm and all children aged between 5-9 are welcome.

The sport teaches respect, self-defence and confidence.
