Coleraine High School pupils impress for Ulster
Congratulations to Coleraine High School pupils Jessica Moore and Alex Halliday.
Both girls were selected for an Ulster U17 Development Hockey Squad who travelled to Lilleshall National Sports Centre in England to play three matches against an England U16 squad.
Ulster had a very successful weekend drawing their first match 0-0 and then winning their two last matches. Alex and Jessica played a very active role in all the games with Jessica scoring a spectacular goal in the final match to leave the score 2-1 to Ulster.
Based on their involvement and high standard of play throughout the weekend both the Coleraine High School pupils - who also play club hockey with Ballymoney - have a bright future in the game.
