Cricket: Bryans and Carlisle in NCU U21 squad

Templepatrick Cricket Club’s Ross Bryans and Jordan Carlisle have been named in the Northern Cricket Union’s Under-21 squad.

The TCC duo will face a strong Marylebone CC touring side at Carrickfergus Cricket Club on Wednesday, June 17.

Two days later, Carlisle will be in familiar surrounds when the squad tests itself against Ireland Under-17s in a 50-over clash in Ballyclare.

Bryans is unavailable for the match at The Cloughan, but is expected to return to action alongside his clubmate for the final game of a three-match series - a Twenty20 game against the Irish U17s on Friday, July 3 (10am).

The side will be captained by Carrick native Jordan McClurkin (Instonians) and managed by Eugene Moleon and Uel Graham.
