All the games are free to enter for the public and it is hoped that the North West cricket community will be out to watch the weekend game at Coleraine.

There are of course some North West names in the Ireland squad, although Graeme McCarter, who now plays for Gloucestershire will not be at the Coleraine game due to commitments for his county. The squad also includes Andy McBrine from Donemana, Craig Young from Bready and Stuart Thompson from Eglinton.

There are some long-term members of the Ireland team along with four debutants, hoping to gain their first caps.

The Sri Lankan side is captained by Ashan Priyanjan, a right handed all rounder who has played ODIs for the full Sri Lankan team against Pakistan and South Africa.

There are many up and coming stars in the squad, hoping for full international careers. Ashan, along with Chaturanga de Silva and Kusal Janith Perera, Vice Captain, were in the senior squad who beat England 3-2 in the recent ODI series.
