Dates set for new leagues

JULY 1 has been pencilled in as the date for the start of the new structures in the Armagh All County Leagues.

The three divisions will be split in half with the sides who finish in the top half playing for the league title and teams from the bottom half competing in a league shield competition.

The top two sides in each group will play off and the bottom three clubs in division one and division two will be relegated before the start of the new groupings.

The clubs will be faced with a fairly tight schedule. This week the semi-finals of the B championships take place where, at senior level, Clan na Gael play Carrickcruppen and Wolfe Tones play Granemore.

In the Intermediate B semi-finals, Éire Óg play St. Paul’s before the winners go on to face either Collegeland or Madden in the final.
