Easy win for Thirds
LURGAN Thirds had an eight wicket win when they travelled on Saturday to Larne.
The home team were dismissed for just 47 in 22 overs with skipper Jonny Gillespie taking the bowling honours, claiming four of the home side’s wickets for only four runs.
Matthew McCormick took two wickets for just five runs and Sam Harrison one for six.
Lurgan passed the Larne total in just 8.2 overs, scoring 52 for the loss of just two wickets with Jack Harrison scoring 42 of the runs and remaining not out at the finish.
