First titles claimed in Festival of Pool

CONNOLLY’S ‘B’ and Drew Sloan grabbed two of the most sought-after titles in the opening week of the Ballymena Festival of Pool.

The Dunvale side won the Knockout Cup, while former international cueman Sloan lifted the individual title.

Connolly’s beat Michelin Inbetweeners in the final of the Knockout Cup, having eliminated great rivals Michelin Masters in the semi-finals.

Fairhill Hustlers won the Shield event, for teams eliminated in the opening round of the cup.
