Tiernan Lynch’s charges defeated Crusaders 2-0 on April 14 to claim the title, before being presented with the silverware in front of their home support on April 21.

13. Irish League champions
Defender Cian Bolger signed for Larne in July 2021 following his departure from Northampton Town. He began his professional career with Leicester City in 2010 and went on to make more than 300 appearances in the English Football League. The former Republic Of Ireland under-21 international enjoyed a three-year stint at Fleetwood Town, before a season each at Lincoln City and Northampton Town. 14. Irish League champions
Midfielder Joe Thomson arrived at Inver Park in January from Derry City. The Scottish central midfielder, who spent the last two seasons at the Brandywell, helping the Candystripes to back-to-back European Qualification as well as last season’s FAI Cup triumph. He has also been capped at every age group for Scotland from under-15 through to the under-21 squad, during spells at Livingston, Queen of the South and Dunfermline, where he made almost 100 appearances in Scottish League football. Attacker Thomas Maguire signed for Larne in December 2022. Thomas began his footballing journey at Rotherham United, staying at the New York stadium until he was 18.
Once arriving back to Northern Ireland he put pen to paper for Cliftonville and subsequently enjoyed loan spells at Warrenpoint Town during his time in the Danske Bank Premiership. Last summer he travelled to the USA to begin a soccer scholarship as he studied for his masters, signing for the Nova Southeastern Sharks in Fort Lauderdale.
