The Under 10 Amateurs squad were in fine form again as they racked up ten goals for the second week in a row in their game against an older Dungiven Celtic team.

Their U10 Youth squad counterparts weren’t so lucky although still impressed as they lost out to Coleraine by the odd goal in five.

But Carniny the cut loose with nine second half goals with Magee going on to complete his hat-trick, with further goals from Leon Graham (2), Anthony Greer (2), Cormac McMullan (2) and Lewis McKee in an outstanding team display.

Carniny Amateurs 2, Coleraine Alexandra 3: Carniny started this game very well against a blustering wind and took the lead after a great ball from Kenzie McMullan sent Joel Murray free down the left and he fed jack Kennedy who scored from a tight angle.

Carniny then struggled with wind and Coleraine scored three unanswered long distance efforts before the break.

Carniny pulled a goal back from a brilliant individual effort from Cameron Moody but couldn’t find the equaliser.

Carniny: Strange, Murray, Scott, McMullan, Moody, Kennedy, Courtney, White, Tweed
