The midfield partnership of Reuben and Ben Stevenson started to get a hold on the game providing a solid platform from which the Dromore could attack.

However the first half was not all one way traffic, but thanks to the solid defence of Dylan Crookshanks, Matty Crossey, Benjamin Smyth, Adam Parker and keeper Josh Best,

Dromore was able to limit Windmill to having minimal time and space in Dromore half and therefore limiting Windmills chances. A determined first half finished 0-0 but with Dromore having the majority of possession and creating the better chances.

With the first half ending 0-0 the game was perfectly set up for an eventful second half, which did not disappoint. The breakthrough came thanks to the lively Karl Taggart who latched onto a through ball from the inspirational Scott Briggs, receiving the ball 35 yards out and driving into the Windmill box, out powering the back line to casually slot the ball into the bottom corner.
