“I’m delighted,” he said. “It’s good to get things sorted and I’m looking forward to meeting up with the lads and getting things started,

“It’s a club that’s very ambitious. I’ve spoken with the manager a few times and I’ve spoken to the chief executive and they have big plans so that was my thinking behind signing the two year deal. Not only do I want to be sucessful this year but I want to carry that on next year as well.”

The 31 year-old N. Ireland international winger was released from Brighton at the end of the season after a loan spell with League Two side, Notts County. But he was quickly snapped up by Luton on the first day of the summer Transfer Window.

He joins his N. Ireland teammate, Josh McQuoid at Kenilworth Road after the striker joined ‘the Hatters’ two weeks ago and becomes manager, John Still’s second signing of the day following the transfer of Magnus Okuonghae.

N. Ireland manager, Michael O’Neill will be delighted to see the winger, who has been capped 14 times, settle his club future with vital European Championship qualifiers coming up later this year.
