Chance to win £1,000 holiday

The club still needs help from the public as it seeks to raise funds that will help to increase the team’s competitiveness on the pitch.

Donations to the club can be made in a number of ways, in particular buying tickets for the club’s end of season draw. The top prize is a luxury holiday worth £1,000 from Clubworld Travel while other prizes include a VIP Box at Down Royal racecourse, two tickets for a Manchester United match next season from Skelton Travel and a beauty treatment worth £100 from Sorella Health and Beauty, Waringstown.

Tickets cost £5 and can be bought from any club official or at any Glenavon match. The club is even appealing to supporters to take 10 or 20 tickets and sell these to help boost the club’s ongoing and vital fundraising efforts.

Donations can also be made by joining the Mourneview Needs You scheme and giving anything from £5 to £100 per month. Alternatively, you could sponsor a match, a match ball, the Man of the Match award or by purchasing a share in the club by speaking to any club director.
