Cliftonville lined upfor Celtic friendly

Lurgan Celtic have landed a bumper pre-season friendly with Irish League champions Cliftonville coming to Lurgan on Thursday, July 11 with a 7.00pm kick-off.

The Hoops will also play Glenavon at Knockramer Park on July 23 again with a 7.00pm start.

The other friendlies include Sat 6th July away to Silverwood Utd 3.00pm; Sat 20th. July away to Orchard City (Newry) 3.00pm; Tues 23rd July home to Glenavon 7.00pm; Sat 27th July home to Ards 3.00pm.

Plans are also in place to stage a charity game in memory of former player Sean Creaney.

The club have are also holding an recruitment open session at Kernan Sports Arena on Saturday 6th July at 11.00am for players born during 1995 with the new youth team management which consists of Stewart Coghill, Sean McGeown and former Norwich City, Glenavon, Ards and Hoops player Sean Collins.
