Cookstown claim Mid-Ulster indoor BB crown

The Mid-Ulster Battalion of the Boys’ Brigade held their annual U18 indoor 5-a-side football competition on Saturday 23rd February 2013 at Loughview Sports Centre, Dungannon.

Seven companies from the Battalion were represented: 1st Tobermore, 1st Magherafelt, 1st Moy, 1st Castlecaulfield, 1st Castledawson, 1st Moneymore and 1st Cookstown.

The teams played each other on a league basis, resulting in each team getting six games. Following a marathon 21 games 1st Cookstown emerged as winners, taking victory in all six of their games. 1st Castlecaulfield were runners-up with three wins and a draw.

Following the presentation of the Windsor Reds Football Club cup to 1st Cookstown, the evening was closed with prayer by Mr Roy Marshall (1st Castlecaulfield).
