Defeat for Larne in Derry City friendly
Taking advantage of a free day in the calendar, Larne faced Derry City under-19s on Saturday. It was a good work for Graham McConnell’s Reds, but the visitors won 2-0 with both goals coming in the final 15 minutes.
A Niall McAllister own goal gave the visitors the lead before Connor Harkin confidently rounded Chris Keenan to slot the ball home with two minutes to go.
Larne are back in Championship 1 action this weekend with a crucial match at home to H&W Welders on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
