Dromore Amateurs
Ladies could make
history if they win cup

Dromore Amateurs Ladies could lift their first ever trophy on Monday night - but they have a tough test in front of them.

The ladies will make the short trip to Crystal Park (kick-off 6.45pm) to take on Valley Rangers Ladies.

It’s the first ever time that the Mid-Ulster Ladies Cup has been played for, and the locals have beaten the likes of the Loughgall Lakers on their way to the final.

The locals are unbeaten against their opponents, having played them three times already this season. They drew 0-0 at the start of May, but Dromore demolished Valley 6-1 in the Irish Cup Second Round. It finished 2-1 in the second Championship clash between the two teams.

- Dromore Amateurs Youth are currently seeking new players who would be interested in playing in youth league football. The Dromore club has footballers at all age groups from 4-19 but are always on the lookout for new players. Each team trains one evening per week at Ferris Park and new faces are always made welcome.

They would particularly welcome players keen to take part with our 1997s and 1995s squads. Call or text Gavin on 0779 934 4154 or Keith on 0777 331 2205 for full details.
