A cross into the box and Tommy Mullan was too easily beaten in the air and the ball was nodded down and cut the ball back to Keith Hamilton who easily chipped over Paul Ferris who was caught too far off his line.

Straight from the restart Rovers gave away possession and the attacker scored from a tight angle.

At this stage it looked like it would be a cricket score such was the home sides dominance and half chances kept coming their way for the nest ten minutes.

On 37 minutes Rovers pulled one back through Jack McGonigle and Rovers where now dominant and hoping the half time whistle wouldn’t come.

Just as Burnfoot had scored two in a minute, Rovers then did the same.

The other sixteen-year-old Phillip Jenkins burst towards the edge of the box and played a neat one-two with Rafferty before tucking a cool finish away to make it 2-2.

Rovers took the lead on 67 minutes when Chris McInnes make a great penetrating before passing to Jenkins, who in turn feed Jack McGonigle and at the second attempt he made no mistake.

Burnfoot piled on the pressure and levelled things on 84 minutes when ex-Rovers captain Willie McClenaghan headed home.
