Park won five two in what was to be then manager Timmy Dixon’s last game in charge of the Roesiders.

They were hammered five two that day with Gary McFadden and Jonny Hume grabbing the two goals for United.

“I know that I wasn’t in charge at the time but I know all about the result earlier in the season against them,” he said.

“However we have changed the management and quite a lot of the personnel that were involved that day.

“I don’t think that it will be a five two game this time around but it is still going to be a tough game for us.”

With his team battling relegation Mullan feels that the Intermediate Cup is a competition his side can do well in.

“I think that the Intermediate Cup is something that we can do well in this season because we are a bit stronger.

“Moyola is definitely a winnable game for us and then you are into the quarter finals of the tournament.

“If you can then get a decent home draw you never know what can happen especially as we have strengthened the squad.”

Mullan is keen to point out now that with the squad they have they are much better equipped for different types of games.

“I feel that we are better equipped now that we were when we first can in and we can compete with most teams.

Fitness is an issue as I said but the new boys give us the chance to set the team up differently at times.

“I said after the Coagh game that all that mattered was getting the three points which we did in the end.

“It’s the same for this game in a way because all that matters is that we are in the hat for the next round,” he ended.

Going into this game there is fitness doubts over Cathair Friel and Ruairi McClean after both came off against Coagh.

Goalkeeper Corey Wilson is cup-tied having playing for Newbuildings so Matthew McGraw will come in for him.

Stuart McMullan is another doubt with a knee injury which has kept him out of the last few games.
