Goalkeeper Chris Keenan saved a Comber Rec penalty on the hour but could only watch as the ball sailed past him from the resultant corner.

The Islanders restored their three-goal cushion when Elliot English headed home on 68 minutes.

The goals kept coming and the visitors pulled another back before Ellis netted his second of the afternoon when he followed up after Gary Workman’s blistering strike was saved.

With the three points well and truly in the bag, Andy Waide wrapped things up nicely for Christmas when he landed the sixth with a volley from 18 yards.

Islamdmagee: Keenan, Workman, McKnight, English, Matthews, Waide, Morton, Barkley, Baird (Lough), Moore, Ellis (Lammey).
