The Drumahoe side travel to bottom side Coagh United (KO 2pm) and while everyone will be expecting a big away victory, Kee wants his players to be focused and not think about taking their foot off the pedal.

Earlier in the season the Waterside men cruised to a comfortable 6-2 win over United at Drumahoe.

Goals from Michael McCrudden (2), Darren McCauley (2), Robbie Hume and Paddy McLaughlin, nevertheless Kee is wary of this weekend’s opponents.

“It doesn’t matter if we are playing Coagh away or Bangor away we have to win every game,” he insisted.

“That is the challenge we have set the players so we are either going to be going for it and be successful or go for it and not be successful.

“We are going to try and win every game and we are capable on any given day of beating anyone in the league.

“But we have to keep our form up, we have to keep our confidence levels up.”

’Stute welcome back midfield trio Aaron Walsh, Michael McCrudden and Gary Henderson, but new signing Stephen O’Flynn isn’t likely to feature as the club are waiting on international clearance for the striker.

Kee is concerned that talented players such as Darren McCauley, McCrudden or Henderson maybe attracting other clubs just as the January transfer window opens today (Wednesday).

“We are into the silly season now and I’m sure their might be clubs interested in one or two of our players because we have some top players.

“We have Walsh back in the squad from suspension, as is McCrudden and Henderson too comes back after we gave him a wee break.

“With those players back and I’m talking to a couple of players which I’m hoping we’ll be able to bring in later this month, we’ll hopefully have that little bit more competition for places which will kick us on in the second half of the season.

“Last Saturday we brought on young Ronan Doherty, he’s a 17-year-old from Carndonagh and although we are looking to bring in new faces, we still might have to go that way and give more young players a chance.”

After last weekend’s win over Dergview coupled by results elsewhere the Drumahoe men have moved to just a point behind leaders Bangor.

“People underestimated the Larne result, but at the end of the day, Larne if we like it or lump it ran over us and battered us and we just couldn’t stand up to it.

“But that’s the nature of the league and we know that. Every game is like a cup final for us and we have to make sure that we are up for the challenge every match.

“It’s going to be a battle and you have to try and win the battle first and then you have to try and get your own stamp on the game.”
