Millar pleased with Larne display

“The lads raised a good sweat, we got to see what they are made of against a team which has been training for five or six weeks and was out to produce a performance because of their upcoming competitive test against Fulham and we got our first look at a host of new signings in a match which pitched them in against superior opposition,” explained Millar.

“And, I have to say, I was absolutely delighted with what I saw from the new lads. I would say that every single one of them will be pleased with what they contributed to a fine Larne display, even if that was not suggested by a three-goal defeat at the hands of a team which finished second in the league and reached the Irish Cup Final last season.
