The Irish Junior Cup takes centre stage this weekend for a lot of Junior sides.

Last weekend reigning Premiership champions Foyle Wanderers got their season off to a winning start with 4-0 away win at Greysteel, Smyth, Rutherford, Curry and Ross their scorers.

Lincoln Courts won the Waterside derby defeating BBOB 4-1 with goals from Hamilton (3) and Harris, Grant Garden replied for the Old Boys who had Moore and Scroggie sent off.

Ardmore showed that they are going to be up their challenging with a 5-3 home win against Drummond. Hume scored four and McCallion getting the other, while Ferris, McElwee and Miller replied for the visitors.

Tullyally Colts had an excellent 4-2 home win over Claudy Rovers their scorers were Wray, McFaul, O’Neill and an own goal, with McDermott and Kerrigan scoring for Rovers.
