North West sides handed home draws in both cup competitions

Newbuildings United have been drawn at home to Crumlin Star in the third round of the Irish Cup.

Fellow North West men Strabane Athletic have also been given a home tie, they face Crumlin United.

Both ties, which kick-off at 1.30pm are scheduled for Saturday, November 9, with extra-time and penalties used if needed.

While the Coca/Cola Irish Junior Cup has been kind to North West sides.
Caw host Woodvale, Claudy Rovers entertain St Matthew’s, Glendermott have home advantage over Greencastle Rovers.

Waterside duo BBOB and Irish Street have received byes and the third round ties take place on Saturday, November 16 (KO 1.30pm).

Meanwhile the Summer Cup Final between BBOB and Drummond United, while take place at Institute’s Riverside Stadium, Drumahoe, on Friday, November 8 (KO 7pm).
