Norwegian side visits Greenisland
Greenisland FC recently played host to Norwegian ladies’ side Fossum IF on their first visit to Northern Ireland.
Fossum is a large multi-sports club, once managed by former Norway national coach, Egil Olsen.
The scandanavian side trained at Glenkeen Avenue and played games against Crusaders Strikers and the Northern Ireland 1997 Youth team.
The girls and their coaches were also introduced to representatives from Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus councils.
