Paramount SC monthly quiz series begins on Friday night

Paramount Ballymena United Supporters’ Club holds the first of its monthly series of table quizzes this Friday evening, September 27.

The event has reverted back to its traditional slot of the last Friday of each month during the football season, with the exception of December.

The venue is always Ballymena Bowling Club, with an 8.30pm start, while a different question master takes charge of proceedings each month.

“It’s our only source of income as a club but it is always very well supported,” explained Paramount chairman Alan O’Loan.

“It’s a general knowledge quiz so it’s not aimed solely at Ballymena United fans or football supporters in general - all teams are welcome.”

Provisional dates for the remaining quizzes this season (subject to change) are: October 25; November 29; January 31, 2013; February 28; March 28; and April 25.
