Patterson treble inspires City
STRIKER Rory Patterson netted a second half hat-trick as Derry City easily overcame Blarney United, in the FAI Ford Cup, on Saturday.
Although Patterson’s treble along with Ryan Curran’s goal didn’t come until after the break, United keeper Steven Gahan, who picked up the man of the match award, made a host of super saves to keep the score-line blank at the break.
