Proverbial game of two halves

AS they say in football this was a game of two halves.

Banbridge began slowly finding it difficult to get any sort of rythm into their play.

Josh Cargin had a couple of chances but couldnt convert them and it was Glen Star that went one up before half time with a hard low shot from just inside the 18 yard line.

Declan Loy then put Andrew Martin through and he slipped it neatly past the keeper.

Banbridge made it three when Finn Campbell headed a Gareth Orr free kick across the goal and Declan Loy was on hand to finish from close range.

Ryan Williamson made a great run down the left hand side and his low cross across the face of the goal allowed Andrew Martin to tap in for his second.
