Super sub O’Kane sinks Courts
ARDMORE claimed their third trophy of the season thanks to Carl O’Kane’s late strike to see off ten men Lincoln Courts, in the Matt Morrison Junior Cup Final.
The final, which took place at Wilton Park last night, didn’t really come to live as both sides cancelled each other out and credit has to be given to Lincoln Courts, who had midfielder Mark Sproule sent-off early in the first half, as they showed some great never say die attitude.
Damien McGee’s side, who had already clinched the First Division championship and won the Sentinel Cup earlier in the season, deserved to win the game.
