The Wee Whites don’t disappoint

With the U-17s having a free week, it was left to the U-16s to make sure The Lisburn Distillery Academy still had two teams with 100% league records come Saturday afternoon and the Wee Whites didn’t disappoint running out 3-0 winners over Solway Stars, Daniel and Peter Freeland (2) with the goals.

The U-13s were down to the bare bones due to illness and injury and had to call a few boys up from the U-12s but came up with a top notch performance to beat local rivals Hillsboro 2-1, top scorer Jamie Hamilton getting both the goals. Windmill defeated the U-14s 6-4 and the U-15s also went down 2-1 to Willowbank. In the mini-soccer the U-9s put in a superb display against Aquinas with Jake Hull and Dee Dee Rafferty getting goals. The U-10s played some lovely football against Cliftonville with Jake Donaghy finishing. Jonathan McCullough and Jack Bonar both got goals for the U-10 Whites against Willowbank. The U-8s were up against an excellent Ardoyne team but Dawson Jackson (5), Ben Bonar (2) and Ryan Cressey still managed to find the net.
