Town out after extra-time heart-break

Banbridge Town were dumped out of the WASP Solutions League Cup by 10 man Newington in extra-time on Tuesday night.

Town were ahead before eventually losing 2-1. Mark Teggart struck to give them the advantage but Newington fought back to 1-1 before 90 minutes.

Despite being down to 10 men, Newington struck to snatch an extra-time victory just when it looked like the match was ebbing towards penalty-kicks.
