U16s run riot over Lurgan

ALTHOUGH this was ultimately an easy victory for Banbridge it took them a long time to get into their stride.

They began very slowly creating very few chances and in fact went a goal down after 25 minutes.

They bounced back immediately when Declan Loy got on the end of a Josh Cargin cross to score with a low shot.

In the second half it was a totally different performance with the goals coming in quick succession.

Declan Loy scored a terrific individual goal beating four players before slotting the ball past the keeper.

Josh Cargin followed that with another individual goal to make it three and Ryan Williamson made it four after a lovely ball from David Gray put him through and David Gray assisted again with Finn Campbell this time finishing well.

Josh Cargin got his second with a controlled lob over the keeper’s head and Michael Jordan made it seven with a drive from the 18 yard line.

Lurgan got a consolation goal before Finn Campbell got his second with a shot from 18 yards making it 8-2 for Banbridge.
