Whites ready for ‘tough’ match against Welders

Lisburn Distillery boss Tommy Kincaid says his men face a “really tough game” when they take on league leaders H & W Welders at New Grosvenor tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm).

The Whites will be without several players through injury, suspension or unavailability, leaving them facing a difficult task.

Kincaid commented: “It will be a really tough game; they are flying this year. They have one of the best strikers in the league, who scored 40-odd goals last season,

“It will be a difficult fixture.”

However, the Whites go into the match, having finally got a win last time out against Armagh City.

“It was a weight off everybody’s shoulders,” Kincaid commented. “But it is only three points. A lot of teams have the same amount of points in the league, we have got to pick up as many points as possible.

“Saturday will be a really hard game, we are going in, not depleted, but not with our strongest squad.

“The mood in the camp is really good, they are a very close unit. They’ve worked hard over the last week and we will work on a few things to get ready the best we can for Saturday.”
