Glebe to appoint new man

GLEBE Rangers expect to appoint a new manager today with Gary Scott tipped for the post.

Glebe parted company with Derek Donaghy last week, as exclusively revealed by Times Sport.

The Glebe board immediately drew up a potential list of targets to replace Donaghy and spoke to a number of candidates through the week.

The importance of getting the right man at the helm as soon as possible was brought home on Saturday when Glebe suffered a heavy loss away to Ballyclare Comrades.

And it doesn't get any easier for Glebe this weekend with Oran Kearney's Limavady United - who beat Ballymoney United on Saturday - next up.

Glebe's match away to the league leaders gets under way from 3pm.
