It was five handicapper, Andrew Cochrane, who produced the round of the day with a superb three under par 67 for a nett 62 and victory by one shot.

He was in superb form picking up six birdies at the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th, and 14th, dropping shots at the 2nd, 9th and 13th, and the other nine holes he finished in pars.

Second place went to Mark McGrath (10), despite dropping shots on the first three holes and again at the 6th, 9th, and 12th, he hit back with birdies at the 8th, 13th, and 14th to go round in 73 shots and a nett 63.

Third spot went to CJ Whyte (11) who went round in 75 shots for a nett 64. He recorded birdies at the 7th and 15th, but double bogeys on the 3rd and 9th, plus dropped shots at the 5th, 16th, and 17th proved costly.

Fourth and fifth finishers William Roberts (14) and Brian McKeown (18) both returned nett 66s, with William clinching fourth spot thanks to a better back nine.

William recorded nine pars in his round and playing the pars threes in one over helped to see off Brian, who will reflect on recording double bogeys on 16th and 17th.

The gross prize went to Graeme Dickson (+1) who edged out fellow Senior Cup players Darren and Stephen Crowe on the better back nine after all three returned 68. Graeme dropped only two shots on the front nine at 2nd and 6th, but birdies at the 1st, 8th, 13th and 18th clinched him the gross prize.
