On the seniors front it was better news when the club hosted all 10 teams of the Mid-Ulster League clubs. Silverwood finished top on the day and further improved their hopes of a mid-table position by the end of the season. Best scores were the pairing of Brian Brady and Frank Gallagher with a magnificent 46 points and Dermot McCabe and Pete Graham with 40 points. It was a most encouraging display and it was comforting to have so many compliments on the condition and new lay-out of the golf course.
