Andy Young continues to feature amongst the prizes, claiming third place with 37 points and will no doubt feature at the top of the Golfer of the Year leader board next week.

In other news the Pierce Purcell and Ulster Fourball teams were in action at Kilrea and Balmoral golf clubs respectively in the hope of progressing to the next round.

The Pierce Purcell team just missed out on qualifying for the next round as they finished sixth in tough conditions needing a top four finish to go through.

The Ulster Fourball team were beaten by 3.5 points to 1.5 points but will hope to overturn that result at home next week.
