David Warburton Junior, 27, accompanied with his father, David, were the Gold Medal winners in the Individual Shot event.

Philip, meanwhile, won Gold in the Singles event.

David is no stranger to golfing success. The local man has been playing for Birdies Special Olympics Golf Club held at Silverwood Golf Club, Craigavon for seven years now.

In Golf, David has won five Gold Medals, three Silver and four Bronze.

Philip is also a member of Birdies Special Olympics Golf Club held at Silverwood.

David would recommend any disabled person to give golf a try. If you are interested you can contact Special Olympics Belfast.

David’s father, David senior, was delighted with his son’s success in the event.
