Ladies prove they are on the ball

COLERAINE Football Club’s Ladies Supporters’ Club have shown they are on the ball when it comes to backing their beloved Bannsiders.

For last week they handed over another big donation to the club which they so loyally follow.

Club members presented Bannsiders President Andy Mahowan with a cheque for £4,000 to bring their total of funds raised for the Showgrounds club to £7,000.

It’s a remarkable achievement for the hard working ladies, who only formed the Supporters’ Club a mere 12 months ago.

Since then the dedicated group have worked tirelessly to help fundraise for the club.

Thery have held several big events in the Social Club during the past year including the Casino Night along with entertainment from The Indians, Richie Remo and Glitzy Glamour. The ladies also sell a weekly bonus ball draw to raise funds. They would like to thank everyone who supports them by buying a bonus ball.

The committee is: Debbie Devenney (Chairperson), Marie Bradley (Secretary), Dorothy Kyle (Treasurer), Linda Hunter (Vice Treasurer), Caroline McKendry and Pearl Cauley.
