Rockmount Golf Club ladies reach the Cowdy Cup final

The Rockmount ladies team are into the Cowdy Cup final after defeating Spa in the semi-finals.

In the home leg, the team got 22 out of a maximum of 24 points, leaving the team only 2 1/2 to get in the away leg. Well done to Team Captain Sue McDonagh and her team - Andrea Watson, Jan Lindsay, Leonie Power, Pauline McWilliams, Diane Patterson, Moyra Evans and Maire Donnelly. The team now play Lisburn in the finals at a neutral venue; Edenmore Golf Club on Sunday September 14 at 2pm.

This year’s Rockmount Ladies Club Championship was played on Sunday, the winner was Deirdre Bones.
