Waringstown’s reply got off to a disastrous start as Jonathan Waite and Morgan Topping both fell without scoring.

Topping (41) and Michael Hingston, who top scored with 52, rebuilt the innings but a gritty Lisburn side never gave up.

Andrew Mitchell and Sam Wilson each contributed 24 and Ross Waite a hard-hitting 47, but Waringstown were still short of their target when the eighth wicket fell.

Kidd saw them over the line with 14 not out.
